O início deste percurso é proposto no sentido descendente com início junto ao Hotel Jardim Atlântico, situado no Lombo da Rocha, Freguesia dos Prazeres.
Este trajecto não oferece qualquer dificuldade. A descida é iniciada pela vereda que serpenteia a escarpa e que nos conduz até ao Paul do Mar.
O encantamento na descida é constante através das continuas imagens de beleza natural envolvente, e que resultam do colorido da flora, destacando-se a presença dos funchos, massarocos, goivos da rocha e seixeiros.
A tudo isto junta-se uma paisagem construída pela geomorfologia típica de uma ilha de origem vulcânica, que resulta numa mistura de paredes rochosas onde destacam-se as cores do basalto com as escórias ocres.
O espectáculo deste percurso finaliza-se com o acompanhamento das quedas de água que vão desaguar sobre o calhau bem junto ao mar onde se encontra o porto do Paul do Mar.

Walk | Prazeres - Paul do Mar
The walk from Prazeres to Paul do Mar to starts at Hotel Atlantic Garden, situated at Lombo da Rocha, Prazeres.
This route offers no difficulty. The way down is made through a narrow path along the cliff that leads us to Paul do Mar.
While walking down the cliff, the enchantment is constant due to the images of the natural surroundings, that result from the colours of the flora, with special attention to the presence of endemic plants such as fennel, pride of madeira (echium candicans), matthiola maderensis, and seixeiros (salix canariensis).
This walk also offers a view of the landscape built by the geomorphology of a typical island of volcanic origin, which results in a mixture of rock walls with focus to the basalt colours togheter with ocher slags.
This journey show ends with the monitoring of the waterfalls that flow into the rocks right next to the sea and where the port of Paul do Mar is located.

Der Ausgang dieser Wanderung, die als Abstieg empfohlen, befindet sich beim Hotel Atlantic Garden in Lombo da Rocha in der Gemeinde Prazeres
Der Weg stellt keinerlei Schwierigkeit dar. Der Abstieg beginnt entlang eines kleinen Pfades, der sich entlang des Hanges schlängelt und hinab nach Paúl do Mar führt.
Während des Abstieges werden wir unablässig bezaubert von der Schönheit der umgebenden Natur und von der farbenfrohen Flora, besonders in der Präsenz von Fenchel, Natternkopf, der Madeira-Levkoje und der Kanaren-Weide.
Hierzu gesellt sich eine geomorphologisch typische Landschaft einer Insel vulkanischen Ursprungs, die sich aus gemischten Felswänden zusammensetzt und ein wechselndes Farbenspiel von Basalt-Ton bis hin zum Ocker der Schlacke bietet.
Das Erlebnis dieser Wanderung wird gekrönt durch die Wasserfälle, die uns ständig begleiten und auf das Geröll in Küstennähe hinabstürzen, wo sich auch der Hafen von Paúl do Mar befindet.
